</span></p>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-54991140725653308442021-06-25T17:47:00.001-05:002021-06-25T17:47:38.927-05:00Dream Duet: Papy Tex and Pepe Ndombe <p> <img alt="Papy Tex | Diskographie | Discogs" src="https://img.discogs.com/3oTkHs_65qv_bokqRE_E6WaAuUs=/600x449/smart/filters:strip_icc():format(jpeg):mode_rgb():quality(90)/discogs-images/A-1584588-1567613682-5112.jpeg.jpg" /></p><p><img alt="Pepe Ndombe Opetum - Congolese Music" src="https://www.congolesemusic.com/wp-content/uploads/people_profil_img/NdombeOpetum_profil_img_1.jpg" /></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Quicksand; font-size: large;">We got a dream duet edition of dedication of <b>Papy Tex</b>. We got two people that I think Papy Tex should have sung with. This is the first edition. Who is the first act that should have sung with Papy Tex. This man was the singer that got to sing with both <b><span style="color: #2b00fe;">Franco</span></b> and <b>Tabu Ley</b>. He is known to have a similar voice to Tabu Ley but is better singing lower. He is one of the key players of Bana OK? Who am I speaking about?</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family: Quicksand; font-size: large;"><b>Ndombe Opetum</b> or many people call <b>Pepe Ndombe</b>. Pepe Ndombe would have been a great partner to Papy Tex. Why? Because as I mentioned he is the lower version of Tabu Ley. Papy Tex is heavily influenced by Tabu Ley. Papy Tex does sound similar to Tabu Ley but more softer with his voice. Like Tabu Ley, Ndombe and Papy Tex were romantic kind of singers and knew how to impress ladies with their ladies. Their voices have remained strong over the years. I have twenty songs that would reflect the beautiful reflection of these two men. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Quicksand; font-size: large;">1) L'estime n'est pas l'amour by Pepe Ndombe<br /><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9ZJQAC6JcA">Tabu Ley: L'Estime N'est Pas L'Amour</a> <br /></span><span style="font-family: Quicksand;"><span style="font-size: large;">2) Na Yebi Ndenge Bokolela Ngai by Pepe Ndombe </span><br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; Also I know Papy Tex and Pepe Ndombe would have assisted well with the songs because both are hard workers as singers and they know how to sing professionally at all times. This is part of the reason why I believe that Papy Tex and Pepe Ndombe would have been the perfect musical couple. </span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Quicksand;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Quicksand;">I know if someone had a Tabu Ley tribute special, I would have chosen Papy Tex and Pepe Ndombe. Also they would have made the ladies go insane with Tabu Ley's earlier songs because I know that ladies would feel very attached to their voices. </span></span></div></div><div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Quicksand;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Quicksand;">Papy Tex and Pepe Ndombe would have been one perfect duo. </span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Quicksand;"><br />This is the end of Papy Tex special duet edition. </span></span></div>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-36685939522516204182021-06-21T17:21:00.002-05:002021-06-21T17:21:46.816-05:00Dream Duet: Kwamy Munsi and Papy Tex <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-mgOwi7BoQ1I/YLKmPPRxpvI/AAAAAAAAA2g/D4iprpinzSs_Eogs_pCsdS682IsstGERgCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="414" data-original-width="485" height="342" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-mgOwi7BoQ1I/YLKmPPRxpvI/AAAAAAAAA2g/D4iprpinzSs_Eogs_pCsdS682IsstGERgCLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h342/image.png" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-QtkXB1w6_0k/YLKmbN7DUdI/AAAAAAAAA2k/qvnFTSfGglsFFwlIavbjhj3safd5g5dHwCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="1066" data-original-width="600" height="640" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-QtkXB1w6_0k/YLKmbN7DUdI/AAAAAAAAA2k/qvnFTSfGglsFFwlIavbjhj3safd5g5dHwCLcBGAsYHQ/w360-h640/image.png" width="360" /></a></div><p></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">We got a dream duet edition of dedication of <b>Papy Tex</b>. We got two people that I think Papy Tex should have sung with. This is the first edition. Who is the second act that should have sung with Papy Tex. This man was the singer that got to sing with both <b><span style="color: #2b00fe;">Franco</span></b> and <b>Tabu Ley</b>. He would play with Franco during the 1960s era and return to Franco in 1970 until 1972. He would end up singing with Tabu Ley until his death in 1982. He would also sing with Grand Kalle at one point and had a band called Orchestre Revolution. Who is the person that I am speaking of?</span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">I am speaking of <b>Kwamy Munsi</b>. Kwamy is one good singer. He is better than accredited for. Some people say that Kwamy was average but I disagree completely. Kwamy actually sang well. I will show you an example where Kwamy sounded more than average <br /></span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9TjYIuRaFV4" width="320" youtube-src-id="9TjYIuRaFV4"></iframe></span></div><p></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">The song here is called Mbanda na Ngai. He sang this song with <b>Mujos </b>and Franco the legend. He started with Mujos and then harmonized with Franco. Kwamy made a short vocal and it sounded pretty good. So to say that Kwamy was average is laughable. Even Franco was not average. Sure Franco was not the best singer but he could sing and hold notes pretty well. Let's be reasonable. Franco and Kwamy Munsi were good singers and great harmonists. </span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">Kwamy Munsi would be the God scent musical partner for Papy Tex. Kwamy has a soft voice and he would be very good for a voice of a Papy Tex. Listen to how he sang with <b>Youlou Mabiala</b> and <b>Vicky Longomba</b> as well as <b>Grand Kalle </b>and Tabu Ley. Four great tenorists all were perfect in harmonizing with Kwamy himself. He created a soft yet strong vocal singing. Something <b>Dilu Dilumona</b> himself spoke about within influence of Kwamy in even the musical voice of <b>Ferre Gola </b><br /><br /></span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/93VZABIta-M" width="320" youtube-src-id="93VZABIta-M"></iframe></span></div><p></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">You can hear Kwamy Munsi reference: 59:06-1:00:22 </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">So you can see that Kwamy made his mark in singing. Back to Kwamy and Papy Tex, here are six songs that would have fitted their voices together. <br /><br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hODKm2Mdutk" width="320" youtube-src-id="hODKm2Mdutk"></iframe></div><p></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">MIV AIS TEMOIN BY KWAMY </span></span></p><p><span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hHJYBWT94XA" width="320" youtube-src-id="hHJYBWT94XA"></iframe></span></div><span><br /><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">FAUX MILLIONAIRE also known as MOTONDO BY KWAMY </span></span><p></p><div><span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/3C5Gd4eNwTA" width="320" youtube-src-id="3C5Gd4eNwTA"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">BIMANSHA BY PAPY TEX </span></span></div><div><span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/oj21FDEnzwY" width="320" youtube-src-id="oj21FDEnzwY"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">PARDON PAPI BY PAPY TEX</span></span></div><div><span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/_THFLkUZER4" width="320" youtube-src-id="_THFLkUZER4"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">COCO QUI EST LA BY GRAND KALLE</span></span></div><div><span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/skqR8m1CkM4" width="320" youtube-src-id="skqR8m1CkM4"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">SANGO YA MAWA BY PAPY TEX </span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">These songs would have shown the strong force between Kwamy Munsi and Papy Tex. Because they show great emotion and it gives you the idea of the what the songs are about. Also they fit the Grand Kalle music in their perspective. Kwamy as a second voice singer and Papy Tex as a first voice singer. These two men would have definitively given great joy the Congolese music population. Music fans should know this especially since they were good at love songs and were perfect harmonists. </span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">I know that Papy Tex would have been very good with Kwamy Munsi. I also know that Kwamy would have a great time with Papy Tex. In part because Kwamy had strong connection with Tabu Ley during his final years. Imagine if someone got Kwamy with Papy Tex, you would have a great nzonzing project. No debate about. </span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Sarabun; font-size: large;">This is the first edition of Papy Tex Dream Duet edition. </span></span></div>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-50126766369756869062021-05-29T11:56:00.005-05:002021-05-29T11:56:42.769-05:00Dream Duet: Dilu Dilumona and Youlou Mabiala <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2flaKuqEKV4/YHx_5e638BI/AAAAAAAAA0Y/QiIMcsb5RRgEHM5VMd5fnQgH1qU5VTkUgCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="519" data-original-width="529" height="392" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2flaKuqEKV4/YHx_5e638BI/AAAAAAAAA0Y/QiIMcsb5RRgEHM5VMd5fnQgH1qU5VTkUgCLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h392/image.png" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-TopmQxc3L14/YHyAFAF9QfI/AAAAAAAAA0c/XGjPWnhdZlkF1N-O7yhkzc_8XqOZ5RerACLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="962" data-original-width="770" height="640" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-TopmQxc3L14/YHyAFAF9QfI/AAAAAAAAA0c/XGjPWnhdZlkF1N-O7yhkzc_8XqOZ5RerACLcBGAsYHQ/w512-h640/image.png" width="512" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: Quattrocento Sans; font-size: large;">We got a dream duet edition of dedication of <b>Dilu Dilumona</b>. This song is where definitively a Dilu voice would have been more useful. The <b>Diatho Lukoki</b> copycat sounded good but he made some minor but notable gaffes and I know for some perfectionists, they would be very mad. For me, the harmony would have been better done if Dilu Dilumona had harmonize with Youlou Mabiala. Dilu never makes mistakes which something very important as a singer. That is one great strength of Dilu that is not credited enough in my opinion. Kumbe Kumbe would have been better well made with Youlou Mabiala harmonizing with Dilu Dilumona. </span></div></div><div><span style="font-family: Quattrocento Sans; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Quattrocento Sans; font-size: large;">This is the end of the Dilu Dilumona duet edition. We have a <b><span style="color: red;">Pepe Kalle</span></b> edition only. We will have two people under this great edition a great legend in Congolese Music. These men come from OK Jazz of <b><span style="color: #2b00fe;">Franco</span></b>. I have found two people that I think would have given Pepe Kalle a great time. Second individual was one of the leaders of Grands Maquisards. He is known for his harmony singing with <b>Wuta Mayi</b>. He would form a close musical bond with <b>Josky Kiambukuta</b> and they would sing in some nzonzings and sing together until 1989. I would say that he is closer to the voice tone of <b>Nyboma</b> but more jolly. </span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">I am speaking about <b>Ntesa Dalienst</b>. He was one of the best contributors to the OK Jazz band. He is known for singing about women as they are just as important as men and also having a jolly sound in a sad or a happy song. Think of the songs like Mouzi, Bina na ngai na respect and Dodo. His voice is more of a type to Nyboma. But Nyboma had a vibrato and Ntesa did not have that. But their voices were sort of crystal. </span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">Ntesa and Pepe Kalle would have been a great duo. Why you ask? Ntesa was effective in singing with <b>Madilu</b>. Their harmony was on point. Since Madilu and Pepe Kalle have a similar voice style (except Madilu was more jolly than Pepe Kalle), Ntesa would have been stronger with Pepe Kalle. Ntesa and Pepe Kalle have loud voices and it would meld very well together. </span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">In fact Ntesa appeared to be a big fan of Pepe Kalle. He mentioned him one time when discussing the song Non which Franco sang with Madilu from the album "Chez Fabrice a Bruxelles". I discussed somewhat about this great lp here. <br /><a href="https://francopepekalleclassicambiance.blogspot.com/2021/04/franco-fabrice-1983.html">Franco (FABRICE 1983) </a> <br />Ntesa mentioned that Franco was very influenced by the voice of Pepe Kalle himself for the song. He also mentioned on how he wanted to really play the style of Pepe Kalle. Perhaps this could be the reason why Madilu made his version called Mayeno which had some preview on his song Pesa Position na yo. <br />You can hear Pepe Kalle topic by Ntesa here<br /></span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Vz6qIscDCcI" width="320" youtube-src-id="Vz6qIscDCcI"></iframe></span></div><span><br /></span><p></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">I have six songs that would have fitted Ntesa Dalienst and Pepe Kalle very well. </span></span></p><p><span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HnbXMvAOtd0" width="320" youtube-src-id="HnbXMvAOtd0"></iframe></span></div><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">TANTINE BY NTESA DIALENST <br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/yUagYzNgb3U" width="320" youtube-src-id="yUagYzNgb3U"></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">MOYIBI BY PEPE KALLE</span><br style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: x-large;" /></span><p></p><p><span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/aDAaOX3Ptjw" width="320" youtube-src-id="aDAaOX3Ptjw"></iframe></span></div><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">NGANDA MA CAMPAGNE BY LOLA CHECAIN </span></span><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sn7uyNpFxOk" width="320" youtube-src-id="sn7uyNpFxOk"></iframe></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">MINDONDO ESILA BY NTESA DIALENST </span></span></div><div><span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/kw_imAjGKuI" width="320" youtube-src-id="kw_imAjGKuI"></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">TABU LIBONGO BY PEPE KALLE </span></span></div><div><span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vx7lNF77wKI" width="320" youtube-src-id="vx7lNF77wKI"></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">AWELA AWELA BY FRANCO </span></span></div></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">These songs would fit the voices of Ntesa and Pepe Kalle because their voices are very strong and it would mesh very well. With Pepe Kalle, Ntesa would sound much louder which would have made the song more complete if you ask me. Since their voices are loud and strong, they should have definitely sang together. They would make amazing harmonies and also make memorable lines together. </span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">I know that Ntesa and Pepe Kalle would have had a great bond together since Ntesa was a big fan of Pepe Kalle and Pepe Kalle does have a soft side for OK Jazz and Afrisa. Finally, Ntesa would have went on detail on his collaboration with Pepe Kalle. </span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Quattrocento; font-size: large;">Would Ntesa and Pepe Kalle duet have been a memorable duo? I would say that he is closer to the voice tone of <b>Papy Tex</b> but more aggressive. </span><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">I am speaking about <b>Djo Mpoyi</b>. He is one of the biggest members of OK Jazz. He is known for his romantic yet emotional singing in songs like Simaro's Kadima and Mandola. Djo Mpoyi is a ladies man and he knew how to touch the hearts of women. Very similar to Papy Tex who is also known for this as well. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">That is the reason why Djo Mpoyi and Pepe Kalle would have been a great duo. Since Djo has the romantic side, Pepe Kalle can add his smooth voice to the song. Also on a sad song that Djo Mpoyi sang, I know with addition of Pepe Kalle's voice, it would touch lives of many people. I also know that Djo Mpoyi can sing low which allows Pepe Kalle to have his <b>Tabu Ley</b> moment. In other words, sing high as a second voice singer like Tabu Ley did on a regular basis. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">Here are the songs that would have been perfect between Djo Mpoyi and Pepe Kalle </span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/w6NRqHK6kQA" width="320" youtube-src-id="w6NRqHK6kQA"></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">AIDEU LEYA BY PAPY TEX </span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lUyFPwXzfFE" width="320" youtube-src-id="lUyFPwXzfFE"></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">TRAHISON BY PEPE KALLE </span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1BFAT05Ac68" width="320" youtube-src-id="1BFAT05Ac68"></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">DADOU SECOND VERSION BY PEPE KALLE </span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/JEiPtYxlbVI" width="320" youtube-src-id="JEiPtYxlbVI"></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">ORIGINAL VERSION OF CHOC D'AMOUR BY PAPA NOEL </span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ACLp-3Bojis" width="320" youtube-src-id="ACLp-3Bojis"></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">HOMMAGE A FRANCO BY SIMARO LUTUMBA MASIYA</span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vacCgpxWuVE" width="320" youtube-src-id="vacCgpxWuVE"></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">MASSIKINI BY DJO MPOYI </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">These six songs would have been great selections for Djo Mpoyi singing with Pepe Kalle especially with the song Dadou which version was made in 1979. That version would have fitted the harmony between Djo Mpoyi and Pepe Kalle when they do the hymns. The hymns would show Djo's great strengths as a harmonist. Djo's hymns with Pepe would have made the harmony much stronger than I heard on the actual song. That is why Pepe Kalle would have been perfect with Djo Mpoyi. Djo Mpoyi would automatically follow Pepe's strong voice and know exactly how maintain his strong voice especially with hymns. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">I know many OKJ and Empire fans would have been impressed with a harmony between Djo Mpoyi and Pepe Kalle. Also, the hymns would blow the fans away in my humble opinion. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Noticia Text; font-size: large;">This is first edition of Pepe Kalle dream duet edition. </span></div>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-32252137954034541352021-05-22T16:42:00.003-05:002021-05-26T12:54:22.142-05:00Dream Duet: Franco and JP Buse <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-hJJrXsZMfiw/YHx9SfIsGeI/AAAAAAAAAzo/ciImWXE9ZV4_WhtrJJIqVE6Ew3GCMgA0QCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="300" data-original-width="300" height="400" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-hJJrXsZMfiw/YHx9SfIsGeI/AAAAAAAAAzo/ciImWXE9ZV4_WhtrJJIqVE6Ew3GCMgA0QCLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h400/image.png" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-GcmbRtCEd8o/YHx-vniwGeI/AAAAAAAAA0A/iWqlfzprQ1AE91sQUMXi5SejUt0vNYnawCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="582" data-original-width="600" height="389" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-GcmbRtCEd8o/YHx-vniwGeI/AAAAAAAAA0A/iWqlfzprQ1AE91sQUMXi5SejUt0vNYnawCLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h389/image.png" width="400" /></a></div><p><span style="font-family: Frank Ruhl Libre; font-size: large;">Hello everyone. We have a <b><span style="color: #2b00fe;">Franco</span></b> special duet edition only. We will have two people under this great edition of the biggest legend in Congolese Music. These men come from the Zaiko generation. I have found two people that I think would have given Franco a great time. Second individual came from Zaiko Langa Langa with now hands of <b>Nyoka Longo</b>. He is part of the Zaiko school Likingisme (Which I will do a post about in the near future) meaning a <b>Likinga Redo</b> photocopy. He is however more of a second voice type rather than first singing type. He was part of the Golden Zaiko meaning the mid and late 1980s. He lives in Canada and he does music in his own terms. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Frank Ruhl Libre; font-size: large;">I am speaking about <b>JP Buse</b>. This man has a great voice. He sounds very similar to Likinga Redo but he is a second voice type as mentioned before. But since he could sing high, he had good harmonies with Nyoka Longo and also <b>Lengi Lenga</b> (a Nyoka Longo photocopy). If JP had sung with Franco, it would be something else. Franco did have a lot of love for Zaiko Langa Langa (but he loved Pepe Kalle much more). If there is one Zaiko personnel who could handle Franco's voice would have been JP Buse. JP is a Zaiko type that would have fitted well with the older folks. I mean Bokelo, Franco and Tabu Ley crowd. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Frank Ruhl Libre; font-size: large;">I have a song that would have been perfect for Franco and JP Buse </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Frank Ruhl Libre; font-size: large;">IDA <br /><br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sieBvqktt3s" width="320" youtube-src-id="sieBvqktt3s"></iframe></div><br /><p></p><p><span style="font-family: "Frank Ruhl Libre"; font-size: large;">This song would have fitted the voices of Franco and JP Buse. Why? Though I as mentioned, JP Buse sounds like Likinga but he can sing low effectively. JP's solo vocals would have been well done in the way Franco would have enjoyed it. Also JP's voice is much more softer and relaxed than the voice of <b>Malage de Lugendo</b> though it is a soft voice also. Also I know Franco's response would have something like "JP" or "JP Yemba" or "Tala JP". JP would hit Franco with his vocal singing in my humble opinion. It is a love song where it shows the dark side of it which JP is capable of singing in this style since he has a voice that can touch the hearts of women when they feel sad or they are heartbroken. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Frank Ruhl Libre"; font-size: large;">Like Likinga Redo, JP Buse is effectively of emotional singing and he knew how to do the chorus bringing the emotional effect that sometimes a song demands. This is why he would have been a perfect fit for someone like Franco in my humble opinion. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Frank Ruhl Libre; font-size: large;">Franco and JP Buse would have been a great thing for Zaiko and OKJ fans alike. This concludes fully the dream duet editions of Franco. Now we go into Pepe Kalle dream duet special only. Two parts like Franco. </span></p>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-82709479663426958322021-05-21T16:16:00.001-05:002021-05-26T12:55:44.971-05:00Dream Duet: Defao and Franco <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2VKwtdxZQM8/YHx-BVaV0wI/AAAAAAAAAzw/80P9hkKed8Uw8Fj-foEtP53KnasDHCaHwCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="600" height="400" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2VKwtdxZQM8/YHx-BVaV0wI/AAAAAAAAAzw/80P9hkKed8Uw8Fj-foEtP53KnasDHCaHwCLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h400/image.png" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jHj4-OueX1s/YHx-SGa4xuI/AAAAAAAAAz4/2svvkvau8HIsc2ywDYYc8pH1kUdiOJTPQCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="300" data-original-width="300" height="400" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jHj4-OueX1s/YHx-SGa4xuI/AAAAAAAAAz4/2svvkvau8HIsc2ywDYYc8pH1kUdiOJTPQCLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h400/image.png" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p><span style="font-family: Inter; font-size: large;">Hello everyone. We have a <b><span style="color: #2b00fe;">Franco</span></b> special duet edition only. We will have two people under this great edition of the biggest legend in Congolese Music. These men come from the Zaiko generation. I have found two people that I think would have given Franco a great time. First individual came from Grand Zaiko of <b>Pepe Felly</b> who was a big Franco fan. He also went to sing with Choc Stars for some significant time before shining on his own. He has a similar voice to Pepe Kalle who he would sing with at one point before he would leave and form his own band. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Inter; font-size: large;">I am speaking of General <b>Defao</b>. He is making new music and he is already promoting some new songs with some notable great individuals. Those who don't know, Defao was good with soukous songs as well as generiques. His generiques were on top during the late 1990s. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Inter; font-size: large;">Defao and Franco would have been a good duo because Defao sounds similar to Pepe Kalle. Since Franco sang with <b>Madilu</b> who many say sound similar to <b><span style="color: red;">Pepe Kalle</span></b>, Franco would have better chemistry with a singer like Defao. Though Defao is second voice, he can sing high to some degree and he was very effective during the 1980s when he was with the Choc Stars. But also Defao can sing low very effectively which he did with <b>Carlyto</b> and <b>Debaba</b>. Franco would find more musical flexibility not only song style but singing wise as well. Like if Franco wanted a fast paced song, Defao would perfect to help Franco in the singing of this affair. Also Defao would have benefited of singing with Franco in a slow ballad song. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Inter; font-size: large;">Two songs that would have benefited Defao and Franco. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Inter; font-size: large;">Slow song is Bella Bella's song by <b>Tonton Ricos</b><br />MARCELUI <br /><br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VoJLb4uMwK8" width="320" youtube-src-id="VoJLb4uMwK8"></iframe></div><br /><p></p><p><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Inter;">Fast song is Choc Stars' song by <b>Monza Premier </b></span><br style="font-family: Inter;" /></span><span style="font-family: Inter;"><span style="font-size: large;">EVE</span><br /><br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gPTFrh3ALZ0" width="320" youtube-src-id="gPTFrh3ALZ0"></iframe></div><br /><p></p><p><span style="font-family: Inter; font-size: large;">Why those two songs in fact. Because it would have shown the good emotional musical connection between Defao and Franco since they knew how to reach people's hearts. Marcelui would be where Franco can sing high but his own way as well as Defao showing his lower range. On the song Eve, Franco and Defao would have had a better harmony as well as Franco improving the song Eve. Monza was good but Franco would have made this song a bit better. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Inter; font-size: large;">Defao and Franco would have been a entertaining duo in my opinion. This is the first part series of Franco in the dream duet edition. </span></p>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-46719356284849188822021-05-18T17:12:00.002-05:002021-05-18T17:12:51.862-05:00Dream Duet: Solo Sita and Tabu Ley <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TnGpW_dK4Vg/YHyBlQDwoGI/AAAAAAAAA00/P-IiKNGFnD08iXvm71jn8qN4-YDyjzT_QCLcBGAsYHQ/s1599/59599498_2891569630858490_3058494224921001984_n.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1599" data-original-width="899" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TnGpW_dK4Vg/YHyBlQDwoGI/AAAAAAAAA00/P-IiKNGFnD08iXvm71jn8qN4-YDyjzT_QCLcBGAsYHQ/w360-h640/59599498_2891569630858490_3058494224921001984_n.jpg" width="360" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bboSJ4QJa70/YHyB4OtSZlI/AAAAAAAAA1A/2-M1P_G0oU0BGj4BIs5BbSvHHHTg6DxJgCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="427" data-original-width="648" height="422" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bboSJ4QJa70/YHyB4OtSZlI/AAAAAAAAA1A/2-M1P_G0oU0BGj4BIs5BbSvHHHTg6DxJgCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h422/image.png" width="640" /></a></div><br /><span><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: large;">We got a dream duet edition of dedication of <b>Tabu Ley Rochereau</b>. This man sang with soukous legends <b>Kanda Bongo Man</b> and <b><span style="color: red;">Pepe Kalle</span></b>. He was a major member of Empire Bakuba during the 1980s. He was a major singer of Empire Bakuba. Empire Bakuba was under the hands of Pepe Kalle. When Pepe Kalle wanted to expand her band, he decided to add some younger singers. Among them was Solo Sita. Solo Sita would very good in choirs in harmonizing with <b>Papy Tex</b>. Solo Sita worked with Kanda Bongo Man. He did a collaboration album with <b>Shimita </b>as well. Solo Sita is kind of the combination of<b> Madilu </b>and Pepe Kalle. </span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: large;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: large;">Since Solo Sita sounds like Pepe Kalle, he should have sung with Tabu Ley. Being a Pepe Kalle prototype, I think Solo Sita would have putted a more classical sound that Tabu Ley was himself. These two classic sounding singers in two different ranges make a sweet sound for people. For example, on the song Chiffon, you would have seen much better following from Solo Sita's voice than you had from Pepe Kalle's voice since he is a bit more smooth. Solo Sita is a bit aggressive just like Tabu Ley was. </span></div><div><span><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: large;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: large;">I know that soukous and Tabu Ley fans would have had great joy to see and hear these two men working together and making great harmonies as well as great animations. Tabu Ley could do some moves as an animator. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: large;">This is the end of the Tabu Ley edition of the dream duet special. We got two people that I think Tabu Ley should have sung with. This is the first edition. Who is the first act that should have sung with Tabu Ley. This man is one of the co-founders of Zaiko Langa Langa. This man has made Zaiko a special band. Who is the individual that I am speaking about? </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Rubik; font-size: large;">I am speaking about <b>Nyoka Longo </b>who is the current president of Zaiko Langa Langa. Nyoka Longo is very popular current with his Zaiko faction. Nyoka Longo came from afar. He was very lucky that <b>Papa Wemba, Evoloko</b> and <b>Mavuela Somo</b> left and also he managed to get rid of <b>Pepe Felly</b>. Had these men remained, I am not sure if Nyoka Longo would have even had a place. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Rubik; font-size: large;">But Nyoka Longo is a good complementary singer. If you listen to Amour Suicide that he sung with<b> Likinga Redo</b> and <b>Malage de Lugendo</b>, you will see how good that he is. I wonder why Nyoka Longo never sang with Tabu Ley especially both could play sebenes pleasing their fans enormously. Also, they have great soloists who knew how to make their signatures that stays in our heads for a long time. Nyoka Longo would mix well with a Tabu Ley because Tabu Ley has a romantic voice like Likinga and Malage had. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Rubik; font-size: large;">Nyoka Longo and Tabu Ley would have a perfect combination because you would have the music of Zaiko Langa Langa with a singing style of Africa Jazz . That is the absolute truth of this collaboration had it occurred. Perhaps you would put Beniko Popolipo on solo, Dino Vangu on misolo, Pele Simba on rhythm and Oncle Bapuis on bass. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Rubik; font-size: large;">I will give two songs that would fitted these two singers together. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Rubik; font-size: large;">Nyoka Longo's song Le tout neige </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KKgQDjRxWDE" width="320" youtube-src-id="KKgQDjRxWDE"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Rubik; font-size: large;">Tabu Ley's classic hit Sorozo</span><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VW239O1-D4c" width="320" youtube-src-id="VW239O1-D4c"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Rubik; font-size: large;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: Rubik; font-size: large;">These songs would show the strong chemistry between these two great stars. Nyoka Longo and Tabu Ley would have done some strong animations. They were both pretty good animators. These two men knew how to make great sebenes and it would have shown with these men together in those two songs that I mentioned. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Rubik; font-size: large;">That is why I am shocked that Nyoka Longo and Tabu Ley never worked considering they seemed to have a cordial relationship and Tabu Ley enjoyed Zaiko a lot. Also Nyoka had some influence of Afrisa in his singing as well as singing of others. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Rubik; font-size: large;">There will be a second Tabu Ley post of Dream Duet. </span></p>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-82346630862846170672021-05-18T15:55:00.002-05:002021-05-18T15:57:40.255-05:00Dream Duet: Franco and Pepe Kalle <p> <img alt="Afropop Worldwide | Best of The Beat on Afropop: Remembering Franco Luambo Makiadi" height="494" src="https://afropop.org/migrated-uploads/2016/10/Beat86FrancoP22.jpg" width="570" /></p><p><img alt="Bitotaâ by Pepe Kalle â LUBANATION.COM" height="520" src="https://myciluba.files.wordpress.com/2014/11/gerant-pepe-kalle.jpg?w=1024&h=1024" width="520" /></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Dream duet that I have been prepared to do. I should have done this years ago but I am ready to do it now anyway. I did four posts about these two men. Two editions in English and two other editions in French. These two are from different generations but managed to make their mark. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">I am speaking of <b><span style="color: #2b00fe;">Franco</span></b> and <b><span style="color: red;">Pepe Kalle</span></b>. I did posts about these men on whether Pepe Kalle should have joined OK Jazz or not with Franco. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;"><a href="https://francopepekalleclassicambiance.blogspot.com/2021/04/why-pepe-kalle-was-right-not-joining-ok.html">7 reasons why Pepe Kalle was right not joining OK Jazz</a></span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;"><a href="https://francopepekalleclassicambiance.blogspot.com/2021/04/pourquoi-pepe-kalle-avait-raison-pour.html">7 raison pourquoi Pepe Kalle avait raison pour ne joindre pas L'OK Jazz</a><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;"><a href="https://francopepekalleclassicambiance.blogspot.com/2021/04/why-pepe-kalle-should-have-joined-ok.html">7 reasons why Pepe Kalle should have joined OK Jazz</a><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Encode Sans;"><a href="https://francopepekalleclassicambiance.blogspot.com/2021/04/pourquoi-pepe-kalle-devrait-avoir.html">7 raisons pourquoi Pepe Kalle devrait avoir joint L'OK Jazz </a></span><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Now I will say that Franco should have done duets with Pepe Kalle. If Franco was good with <b>Madilu</b>, imagine Pepe Kalle with Franco. I was not interested in talking about these men as a possible dream duet scenario. But after discussions of Franco and Madilu, I decided to speak on Franco and Pepe Kalle. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Franco and Pepe Kalle should have done an album together. Why? Because these two men would have made a great dynasty like they did with <b>Tabu Ley</b> who I will do two dream duet posts soon afterwards. Also their voices would be born for one another. Now I always believed that both of their voices were baritone. But there are Franco fans that say that Franco was actually Tenor. Now I think of it, they may be right. I guess is that Franco never sang tenor very often. It was actually kind of rare. Usually Franco sang baritone most of the time. When Franco harmonized with <b>Kwamy, Ntesa, Madilu, Malage, Djo Mpoyi, Vicky Longomba, Michel Boyibanda, Lola Checain, and Youlou Mabiala</b>, Franco usually sang baritone. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Franco and Pepe Kalle would be opposites attract. Franco's voice tends to be more wild and expressive while Pepe Kalle's voice tends to be more smooth and outgoing. Hence, this is why these men should have sung together. Both are emotional men which makes their duet more solid. Both are excellent storytellers and know to capture people's attention in general. In some songs, Franco can do more speaking while Pepe Kalle does his singing in the storytelling that they would do. In majority of the songs, we would hear harmonies between Franco and Pepe Kalle. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Since I believe Franco and Pepe Kalle should have done an album together. Who would be the musicians that would have assisted them in the great project.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Drums: Seskain Molenga </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Guitar Bass: Flavien Makabi, Mpudi Decca and MP Cherie </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Guitar Rhythm: Elvis Kunku, Lutumba Simaro, Maika Munan and Ya Makosso </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Guitar Misolo: Franco and Papa Noel </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Guitar Acoustic: Doris Ebuya, Gerry Dialungana and Lutumba Simaro</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Guitar Solo: Diblo Dibala, Kinanga Boeing 737 and Michelino</span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;">Vocal Assistants: Djo Mpoyi, Ntesa, Papa Wemba, Soki Vangu, Kiese Diambu, Josky Kiambukuta, Nzaya Nzayadio, Likinga Redo and Nyoka Longo </span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;">It would have been like Franco and Tabu Ley's Lisanga ya Banganga but with a combination of OK Jazz, Bella Bella, Afrisa, Empire Bakuba and Zaiko together. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;">Here are the thirty six songs that I selected that would fit this large project. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans";">1) Salima by Michelino<br /></span><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans";">Guitars: Michelino, Papa Noel, Gerry Dialungana, Elvis Kunku and Mp Cherie <br /></span><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans";">Lead Vocals: Franco and Pepe Kalle <br /></span><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans";">Choirs: Djo Mpoyi, Josky Kiambukuta and Kiese Diambu <br /><br /></span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; Some will be duets and others will be with other artists that I proposed. Franco would get to redo chemistry with Michelino and make new ones with an individual like Diblo Dibala. I add acoustic guitar because I think it can make the song a little more flexible for fans who love acoustic guitars too. The reason that these songs would fit is because Franco and Pepe Kalle know how to gather great talents for great work. One of the songs I proposed would be the song </span><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans";">Nganda Ma Campagne that was made by singer <b>Lola Checain</b>. Part of the reason I selected this song is that Franco and Pepe Kalle have a lot of Swahili fans. Franco owns Kenya while Pepe Kalle owns Tanzania. </span></span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;">Nalingaka Yo Yo te is another song that would have been very good with a Pepe Kalle voice. Pepe Kalle would have been able to add his smoothness the harmony with Franco. Also Franco would be more focused on his solo vocals on his heartbreaking story. Pepe Kalle is good at singing about heartbreak. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;">La Vie des Hommes would be where Franco and Pepe Kalle would have been at its greatest. The harmony between these two men would have been better done than the harmony Franco had with Madilu. Madilu did a great job singing in this classic song and I command for his contribution. However I think the song would have more stronger if Pepe Kalle had sung it. Pepe Kalle would be able to give more heartbreak that Franco probably wanted in this song. Listen to Divise Par Deux as example where Pepe shows his heartbreak. It was perfectly done. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;">Seskain Molenga would be the perfect drummer because he played exactly in styles of Franco and Pepe Kalle. He had diversity in his drumming skills. He even worked with Bob Marley. Franco and Pepe Kalle would have appreciated the services of this man. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;">Maika Munan is necessary to add because he is from the Afrisa school who would have been perfect to play alongside Franco and Pepe Kalle. He is a legendary music engineer. Kinanga Boeing 737, Doris Ebuya, Elvis Kunku and MP Cherie are great talents and they were the forces behind Pepe Kalle's great music and since Franco really loved Empire Bakuba more than Zaiko, it makes sense to get these men to work with him as well as their great boss Pepe Kalle with Kinanga have a wild personality which Franco enjoyed. Diblo Dibala worked with Franco and Pepe Kalle. Diblo began with Franco for a short time doing the song Elidjo Motema and Diblo worked with Pepe Kalle on songs like Pon Moun Paka Bouge. Mpudi Decca was a Franco musician and played well in Franco songs and I think he would have a good time with addition of Pepe Kalle alongside with Franco. Papa Noel is a perfect Dr Nico copycat able play rumba and sevens very well. Gerry is a solid Lead guitarist who would play very well with acoustic. Ya Makosso is born to play sebenes with force under his guitar. Lutumba Simaro would be good with either rhythm or acoustic guitar because he has strong hands on that guitar. Michelino and Franco would have a great chance of working together with a third different individual. Also Franco and Michelino had strong chemistry as guitarists together. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;">Djo Mpoyi, Ntesa, Papa Wemba, Soki Vangu, Kiese Diambu, Josky Kiambukuta, Nzaya Nzayadio, Likinga Redo and Nyoka Longo would be good assistants as vocalists for the songs I selected. Likinga, Wemba and Longo represent the Zaiko age which many people love to listen vocally speaking. Soki Vangu is a Bella Bella who has a similar voice to Madilu as well as Pepe Kalle. Djo Mpoyi, Josky Kiambukuta and Ntesa Dalienst are made from Africa Fiesta School as Kiesse Diambu who was a member of Tabu Ley's Afrisa International. Nzaya Nzayadio is a Pepe Kalle prototype who replaced him in Lipua Lipua. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;">This would have been a great project if it had happened. Franco and Pepe Kalle are legends in their perspective generations. They would have been perfect as a duo as well as great with other musicians and singers. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;">I gave a long list songs and musicians for this great project. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Encode Sans"; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Franco would have been a great musical partner to Pepe Kalle. For the next Franco posts, I will mention two people from Clan Langa Langa that would have been with Grand Maitre. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Encode Sans; font-size: large;">Next posts will be with Tabu Ley. Two posts dedicated to him. </span></div>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-57960811200689555962021-05-18T15:48:00.004-05:002021-05-18T15:59:12.026-05:00Dream Duet: Franco and Grand Kalle <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VAVs6RdRJKs/YHx7FrqFkwI/AAAAAAAAAzg/wZF_JkwCCYsU5NVl_WuBPpItuWcQ0xVJQCLcBGAsYHQ/s598/1526403_592558397512780_7603708848986235496_n.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="598" data-original-width="417" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VAVs6RdRJKs/YHx7FrqFkwI/AAAAAAAAAzg/wZF_JkwCCYsU5NVl_WuBPpItuWcQ0xVJQCLcBGAsYHQ/w446-h640/1526403_592558397512780_7603708848986235496_n.jpg" width="446" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;">This duet should have occurred especially since both of them sung with <b>Tabu Ley.</b> I will do two duet posts of Tabu Ley with a former Empire Bakuba leader and one of the co-founders of Zaiko Langa Langa. Who are the two men that I am speaking of whom sung with Tabu Ley. </span><p></p><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;">I am speaking of <b><span style="color: #2b00fe;">Grand Maitre Franco </span></b>and <b>Pere de la rumba Grand Kalle</b>. These two men made their remark in Congolese Rumba. Rumba music that has gone throughout much of Africa in much thanks to these two men. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;">I am upset that Franco did not do an actual duet with Grand Kalle. If there was anyone Franco should have sung with let alone do a duet album with was Grand Kalle. Grand Kalle was the one who trained the voice of Pepe Kalle who Franco loved so much. Unlike Pepe, Grand was also a tenor singer. Grand Kalle was a perfect tenor singer. He never had a bad day vocally speaking. The songs speak for itself. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;">Franco and Grand Kalle would have been perfect because listen to the song Ngungi that Franco sang with Tabu Ley. Had Franco sung a song like that with Grand Kalle, it would have been fire. Franco has a wild expressive voice while Grand Kalle has a sweet tenor romantic voice. That gives people something to work with. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;">In fact I got twenty songs that would be perfect between Franco and Grand Kalle </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; If Franco was perfect with Tabu Ley, you would have seen more fire with Grand Kalle and Franco himself. </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mdR_9FqsUGs" width="320" youtube-src-id="mdR_9FqsUGs"></iframe></span></div><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">MBANDA ASILIKI</span></p><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VMU945saO_c" width="320" youtube-src-id="VMU945saO_c"></iframe></div><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">FIFI NAZALI INNOCENT FROM SIMARO </span></span></p><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/fIlJS5wseXg" width="320" youtube-src-id="fIlJS5wseXg"></iframe></div><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">CEDOU </span></span></p><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Y6O8TooK64o" width="320" youtube-src-id="Y6O8TooK64o"></iframe></div><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">AZDA </span></span></p><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Vz6qIscDCcI" width="320" youtube-src-id="Vz6qIscDCcI"></iframe></div><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">NON </span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Ces chansons démontrent ou Franco chante plus haut que les autres. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">PEUCH DE SOL </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Q3XCdrT-DcA" width="320" youtube-src-id="Q3XCdrT-DcA"></iframe></div><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /></span></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">NALINGAKA YO YO TE </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xAOU0VUC7Ro" width="320" youtube-src-id="xAOU0VUC7Ro"></iframe></div><p><br /><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Ces chansons auriont été mieulleure avec la voix de Pepe Kalle. I hope you are well. I am doing a controversial post. I mean two. It is about <b><span style="color: #2b00fe;">Franco</span></b> and <span style="color: red;"><b>Pepe Kalle.</b></span> I did posts of Franco vs Pepe Kalle. This time I will speak on Pepe Kalle being a employee of Franco. I said that. Well I don't think that but there are people that say that Pepe Kalle would have been better under someone else. There are some who say that Pepe Kalle would have better been with Franco and there are some who say that Pepe Kalle was good on his own. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">This case will be about on why Pepe Kalle should have joined OK Jazz of Franco? </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">I will give you seven reasons why Pepe Kalle should have joined Franco's Le TPOK Jazz.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">1) Felicity of bringing younger singers more easily</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">2) Pepe Kalle was a team player </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">3) Franco has one less group to worry about </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">4) Pepe Kalle is hard working and Franco loves a hard worker. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">5) Pepe Kalle would have brought more animations for OK Jazz.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">6) <b>Tabu Ley</b> would have been tempted to get someone like <b>Nzaya Nzayadio</b> into Afrisa since he sounds similar to Pepe Kalle. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">7) Pepe Kalle is a second voice singer. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">The last reason is actually very important to state this. Well for me anyway, I always considered and still consider Franco to also be a second voice range singer. But there are Franco fans say that actually Franco was a tenor type of singer not baritone as I believe. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">For those who say that Franco was a tenor type of singer, there are moments where that does seems to be the case. I will show where their arguments do hold. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mdR_9FqsUGs" width="320" youtube-src-id="mdR_9FqsUGs"></iframe></span></div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">MBANDA ASILIKI</span><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VMU945saO_c" width="320" youtube-src-id="VMU945saO_c"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">FIFI NAZALI INNOCENT FROM SIMARO </span><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/fIlJS5wseXg" width="320" youtube-src-id="fIlJS5wseXg"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">CEDOU </span><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Y6O8TooK64o" width="320" youtube-src-id="Y6O8TooK64o"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">AZDA </span><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Vz6qIscDCcI" width="320" youtube-src-id="Vz6qIscDCcI"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">NON </span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">These songs show where Franco sings higher than someone else. Whether you are speaking of <b>Youlou Mabiala, Josky Kiambukuta, Vicky Longomba, Michel Boyibanda</b> or <b>Madilu System</b> which half are natural tenorists. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">But there is one song where Franco would have been better singing tenor the whole time in harmony. That song is La Vie Des Hommes. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/5tUoMR2wnns" width="320" youtube-src-id="5tUoMR2wnns"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">This song is where it would have been better done with Pepe Kalle than it was with Madilu though Madilu did a great job with the song. Franco made a great song of La Vie des hommes. But if Pepe Kalle had sung this instead, Franco would have been more inspired not only to harmonize with Pepe Kalle but he would sing tenor the whole time. Perhaps it would show better Franco's tenor voice that he had. </span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Since Pepe Kalle is truly a second voice singer, his voice would have pushed Franco's desire to go back to tenor. That is probably why Franco wanted Pepe Kalle into OK Jazz and why he decided to add Madilu. But Madilu was better singing higher than Pepe Kalle though Pepe Kalle had moments where he could sing high. Listen to him with Tabu Ley. Back to Franco and Pepe Kalle, Pepe's second voice being perfect would have helped Franco at moments where he sang low then he would sing high again. I will give two examples where he would have been great with tenor with assistance of Pepe Kalle. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">PEUCH DE SOL </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Q3XCdrT-DcA" width="320" youtube-src-id="Q3XCdrT-DcA"></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">NALINGAKA YO YO TE </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xAOU0VUC7Ro" width="320" youtube-src-id="xAOU0VUC7Ro"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">These songs would have been better done with a voice of Pepe Kalle. I can imagine Franco's tenor shining much more. I will go deeper into analysis on dream duet post of Franco and Pepe Kalle. </span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Also, if Pepe Kalle had been in OK Jazz, he would have been also very comfortable with voices of <b>Djo Mpoyi</b> and <b>Ntesa Dalienst</b> whom I will speak of them with Pepe Kalle in dream duets. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Pepe Kalle would be a good alternative choice for OK Jazz when Josky does not want to sing. Like example, we can put Pepe Kalle with Wuta Mayi, Ndombe and Ntesa or Diatho Lukoki, Wuta Mayi and Djo Mpoyi. In a Franco lead song, we can hear a voice of Pepe Kalle with Ndombe and Ntesa or Djo and Ndombe or Wuta and Ntesa or Wuta and Djo. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Pepe Kalle came from Africa Jazz school and Franco loved that music so much that if Pepe Kalle had joined OK Jazz, he would put Empire Bakuba influence into great blast with more uptempo songs and I know Franco would excel on it with the sebenes. Pepe Kalle would have given many animations for OK Jazz. <br /><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Franco and Pepe Kalle dream duet will be next. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">2) Pepe Kalle would have only done nzonzings with Papy Tex. </span></p>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-30183666434998061762021-04-08T13:39:00.002-05:002021-04-08T13:39:30.490-05:00Why Pepe Kalle was right not joining OK Jazz of Franco?<p> <img alt="Afropop Worldwide | Best of The Beat on Afropop: Remembering Franco Luambo Makiadi" height="494" src="https://afropop.org/migrated-uploads/2016/10/Beat86FrancoP22.jpg" width="570" /></p><p><img alt="Bitotaâ by Pepe Kalle â LUBANATION.COM" height="520" src="https://myciluba.files.wordpress.com/2014/11/gerant-pepe-kalle.jpg?w=1024&h=1024" width="520" /></p><p><br /></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Hello everyone. In addition, he had his childhood friend Papy Tex and later on with another friend <b>Dilu Dilumona</b>. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Pepe Kalle was someone who was a superstar from the minute he came into the music scene. He was from <b>Grand Kalle</b> school but he was clearly set to make his own mark as a singer. After all, he already had a group that was pretty popular at the local Kinshasa music scene (Africa Choc) with his childhood friend Papy Tex. In addition, Pepe Kalle was on his way to work with individuals like <b>Seskain Molenga</b> before preparing for an official band called Empire Bakuba. Finally, Pepe Kalle was a very confident which I spoke before. This confidence helped him keep his career going with the good and the bad times. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Also, perhaps there would have been a bigger conflict between Franco and Verckys. Because I am sure Verckys and Franco would not even want to be in the same room. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Finally, Franco did not really need Pepe Kalle. He already had likes of <b>Josky Kiambukuta, Ntesa Dalienst, and Ndombe Opetum</b>. Those singers were solid to sing on Franco style songs. Franco was a legend in making. Franco made great classic songs with different kind of singers. Franco was on his way to become one of the all time greats. Franco already changed his music to more African Jazz style music. In other words, "Africa Fiesta Style of Music". </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Do you agree or disagree? </span></p>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-66587126427180163012021-04-08T12:00:00.002-05:002021-05-29T15:17:25.078-05:00Franco- FABRICE (1983) <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-4fgFwGXXzUw/X3zyswbXOAI/AAAAAAAAAjQ/jsHkTNRBnUIqhiZlkdDnjJ7qmUaLPhUHQCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="1280" data-original-width="1274" height="606" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-4fgFwGXXzUw/X3zyswbXOAI/AAAAAAAAAjQ/jsHkTNRBnUIqhiZlkdDnjJ7qmUaLPhUHQCLcBGAsYHQ/w603-h606/image.png" width="603" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Hello everyone. I want to do a post on this classic work. </span><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">It is Chez Fabrice a Bruxxelles. It is a great work from <b><span style="color: #2b00fe;">Franco</span></b> and Le TPOK Jazz. It was released in 1983. This album is a important for three reasons.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">1) Some notable OKJ singers left. I mean <b>Ndombe Opetum, Djo Mpoyi, Diatho Lukoki</b> and <b>Wuta Mayi</b>. Wuta Mayi would go to form a band with <b>Nyboma</b> called 4 Etoiles. Djo Mpoyi would go to do some solo adventure and do some songs with Diatho of a side band Tiers Monde. Ndombe would form Tiers Cooperation with <b>Sam Mangwana</b> before Diatho and Djo would join Ndombe on that band after Sam went for another adventure. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">2) Franco rediscovered a passion in making duets with the song Non. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">3) It was beginning of the star of <b>Madilu System</b>.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">This album was where Madilu System would finally breakthrough after years of having no luck with end of Bakuba Mayopi. But on this song, Madilu restarted his stardom and fans of OKJ began to notice him. They enjoyed his voice a lot. When you listen to Non, you notice it sounds a little different from his usual style. Well it was designed that way. If Franco had it his way, no way Madilu would have sung this song. In fact he made this song for another individual. Who was it? <b>Josky Kiambukuta</b>. Wait? JOSKY, Really? Yes. Well according to Madilu anyway. He claimed that he wanted this song to be for Josky. Very interesting but then again Josky was nicknamed Djosex for love songs. After all, Josky was Franco's favorite singer for a long time. He often selected Josky to sing in his songs. I mean Josky even co-sang lead Franco's TOKOMA BACAMARADE. So I can see why Franco wanted Josky. But Josky surprisingly refused. Also, he did not look for <b>Ntesa Dalienst</b> which is shocking considering that Ntesa and Franco had a great complimentary sound together. Franco was apparently mad because he could not get a singer. Funny enough, Madilu said Franco even wanted Nyboma and Wuta Mayi who then formed 4 Etoiles as I mentioned before with Syran Mbenza and Bopol. Then, Madilu said that he sung a little vocal but Franco wanted <b>Tabu Ley</b> but thanks to Franco's wife, the song officially went to Madilu as Franco's duet partner. You know the rest is history for the beginning of Madilu's reign on OKJ after 1983.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Also comes the good harmony of Josky Kiambukuta, Madilu System and Ntesa Dalienst. It would be showed on the songs Freins a main (handbrake) and Second Version of Fabrice which is known as 5 Ans Ya Fabrice (5 years of Fabric). These songs also showed Franco's ability to give storytelling while singing at the same time. I saw the great emotion and passion of Josky, Madilu and Ntesa in the choirs. This showed how good Franco was at assembling great singers together. He did once with Josky, Ndombe and Ntesa or Josky, Pepe Ndombe and <b>Youlou Mabiala</b> or Diatho Lukoki, Josky and Ntesa. This one was no exception. Franco was a great musical genius not only on guitar but also getting great singers in order to great harmony for all OKJ fans to enjoy. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">Another part of Madilu's rise into OKJ had a part of another individual who people often compare Madilu to. Well vocally speaking anyway. Also this man really was loved by Franco. I am speaking about <b><span style="color: red;">Pepe Kalle</span></b>. Pepe Kalle was a big star in Congo at the time and he was impressing big stars. While Franco pretended to be scared of Zaiko Langa Langa, in reality he feared Pepe Kalle much more that he attempted to actually get him into OKJ. But the problem was that Pepe Kalle wanted to be his own man and respectfully declined to join OK Jazz. Franco was very angry about this that he was determined to find a "Pepe Kalle" prototype. He would get his wish after finding Madilu and getting success with him on the song Non. Madilu's star rose as Pepe Kalle started to make noise around the periods of 1985 to 1988. Franco and Pepe Kalle found that they had a lot of things in common. <b>Papy Tex</b> had remarked that Franco and Pepe Kalle would do some games together while Papy Tex would not want to participate. Also Franco preferred Empire Bakuba over Zaiko Langa Langa behind the scenes. THAT IS THE TRUTH. According to Papy Tex, Franco was a important partner to Empire Bakuba and he did a lot for them to get more access. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">That leads to my series that I am going to do? Should Pepe Kalle have joined OK Jazz? That is a tough question. Yes and No. It is really 50 and 50. I did often say that <b>Dr. Nico </b>should have joined Franco (and I insist on it today) because Franco could handle anyone. I am sure Franco could have managed Pepe Kalle very well. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Lora; font-size: large;">I will give two sides of the coin. Seven reasons why Pepe Kalle should not have joined OK Jazz and Seven reasons why Pepe Kalle should have joined OK Jazz. </span></div>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-76992211120337627362021-03-24T22:02:00.001-05:002021-03-24T22:02:37.456-05:00Dream Quartet: Ana Carolina, Claudia Leitte, Daniela Mercury and Ivete Sangalo <p><br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3klPuf8-WvE/YEgJsW2oFGI/AAAAAAAAAu4/1D_ra9wOmpUyTbNtZPzhZFErAy1lpMDEwCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="652" data-original-width="1086" height="384" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3klPuf8-WvE/YEgJsW2oFGI/AAAAAAAAAu4/1D_ra9wOmpUyTbNtZPzhZFErAy1lpMDEwCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h384/image.png" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-YPZFbPUL9rU/YEgJ9-WJ20I/AAAAAAAAAvE/YgfYKDlTejcOkYbazwhps0m9_6aCipWPwCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="500" height="640" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-YPZFbPUL9rU/YEgJ9-WJ20I/AAAAAAAAAvE/YgfYKDlTejcOkYbazwhps0m9_6aCipWPwCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h640/image.png" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-A3B1tkdEu3c/YEgKJ6cONQI/AAAAAAAAAvI/H9oQXWvoebExT_HroVjQl3mxLFX71gEOwCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="360" data-original-width="560" height="412" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-A3B1tkdEu3c/YEgKJ6cONQI/AAAAAAAAAvI/H9oQXWvoebExT_HroVjQl3mxLFX71gEOwCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h412/image.png" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NWaZCrul54w/YEgKiiEUTvI/AAAAAAAAAvU/EWZ1YSHLrII8X6tJJRQq73luD1zxdawQACLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="1228" data-original-width="984" height="640" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NWaZCrul54w/YEgKiiEUTvI/AAAAAAAAAvU/EWZ1YSHLrII8X6tJJRQq73luD1zxdawQACLcBGAsYHQ/w512-h640/image.png" width="512" /></a></div><p><span><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;">Hello everyone. This is women's month history. I am doing dream duets, trios and quartets as well. This is will be dedicated to women around the world. This edition is a quartet of four great Brazilian female artists. </span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Montserrat;"><span>Eu amo estos artistas muito. Eu quiero tudo o mundo por saber uma coisa dos artistas. Elas sao gran e elas tem muito talento. Elas são as boas cantoras e muitas pessoas sabem suas canções. Quando entendo suas cancaos, sentigo muito gozo em meu coração. Quem </span></span><span style="font-family: Montserrat;">são las cantoras?</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;">I am speaking about <b>Ana Carolina, Claudia Leitte, Daniela Mercury</b> and <b>Ivete Sangalo</b>. The latter three have sung together in many performances. Recently Claudia and Ivette performed at the Brazilian carnival. It was highly successful and fans were very ecstatic about the performance. When I saw that performance, I was thinking it would be nice if another place could get festival where we could get Claudia and Ivete with two more singers with them. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;">It would be a relax setting with romantic songs in pleasures for all the fans who love their voices. I would Ana Carolina and Daniela Mercury. It can be done a dancing manner or a slow manner however these singers would like to be done. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;">Here are four songs that I have found that these four singers would fit it without worry. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/g4mPu1WCcR4" width="320" youtube-src-id="g4mPu1WCcR4"></iframe></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/47ot-RqDxKU" width="320" youtube-src-id="47ot-RqDxKU"></iframe></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/G7JLoOKefvQ" width="320" youtube-src-id="G7JLoOKefvQ"></iframe></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gKAYSFjTCC0" width="320" youtube-src-id="gKAYSFjTCC0"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;">OK here are the following songs</span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;">Resta: Ana Carolina with Chiara Civello (Studio Version) </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;">Tô Samba da Vida: Daniela Mercury (Studio Version)</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;">Não me compares: Ivete Sangalo with Alejandro Sanz (Studio Version)</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;">Corazón: Claudia Leitte with Ivete Sangalo (Live Version)</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;">These four songs exemplify perfect balances between slow and more romantic style songs while you also have a Samba influenced songs. Also you have good news with these ladies. Ana is very good with guitar and Claudia can also play the guitar if she is in the mood with Ivete very good at drumming. I will show one photo of Ivete Sangalo playing drums.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EiTxNr3Wtcg/YFrGfCOWiVI/AAAAAAAAAy4/JiLDhwUNPjUrEwreCjaE57V-gPAhV50lgCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="720" data-original-width="1280" height="360" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EiTxNr3Wtcg/YFrGfCOWiVI/AAAAAAAAAy4/JiLDhwUNPjUrEwreCjaE57V-gPAhV50lgCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h360/image.png" width="640" /></a></span></div><span style="font-family: Montserrat; font-size: large;"><br />I think if this quartet were to happen, it would need to happen in a festival where tons of fans would be there to witness. Or if this quartet were to happen in a studio, the producers need to make sure that these four ladies are comfortable. That is important to make sure that this quartet is successful. Don't forget, they are the big stars of Brazil and they have busy lives, if people want them to work well, then do these steps. </span><p></p>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-18962232437636105922021-03-22T17:01:00.000-05:002021-03-22T17:01:02.429-05:00Dream Duet: Ana Barbara and Malú <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LOb_KgzsJOI/YFgdDGr0HnI/AAAAAAAAAyg/YPsnLfek10kBPuvVs9f_4zwAGp0cSRZWACLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="958" data-original-width="642" height="640" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LOb_KgzsJOI/YFgdDGr0HnI/AAAAAAAAAyg/YPsnLfek10kBPuvVs9f_4zwAGp0cSRZWACLcBGAsYHQ/w429-h640/image.png" width="429" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NMHnQ3U49-I/YFgdvSesmKI/AAAAAAAAAyo/DASU3vx-7xsNR-8RVsyUr5m0XGM8yVolACLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="825" data-original-width="1200" height="440" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NMHnQ3U49-I/YFgdvSesmKI/AAAAAAAAAyo/DASU3vx-7xsNR-8RVsyUr5m0XGM8yVolACLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h440/image.png" width="640" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">Hello everyone. This is women's month history. I am doing dream duets, trios and quartets as well. This is will be dedicated to women around the world. The next two editions will be dream duets dedicated to Spanish women. </span><p></p><div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">Second part of the duet editions are two great female Spanish singers that are very sexy and very charming. This is final Spanish women edition. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">Estas cantoras son romantica para mi. Amo estas cantoras muchas. Ellas cantan muy bien. Estoy un fanatico de sus vozes. Ellas tienen mucho talento y ellas saben como cantar y hacer los momentos memorables para sus fanáticos. Quien son las cantoras españolas que hablo? </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">I am speaking of <b>Ana Barbara</b> and <b>Malú</b>. These two Spanish singers would be perfect together. I know these singers are relaxing kind of singers. Their job musically is to relax you when you feel very stressed out. When I hear their voices, that is my feeling with them. Sometimes we need that because life is so hard and super complicated. I mean excessively complicated. The ones that I selected fit this description perfectly. Ana Barbara and Malu would be good for relaxing people and relieving people in a musical sense. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">I got one song to fit this great example for my thinking. </span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/8KYRReicwTs" width="320" youtube-src-id="8KYRReicwTs"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">This song is callaed Quise Olvidar which I think means who forgets. This song that Ana Barbara sang with Carolina Ross. I think this song could also be done well with a individual like Malú. She has a good low voice while Ana Barbara can sing high effectively but with a big masculine twist on it. Also the harmony would have made the song a bit softer than I heard on that video that I am showing to you guys. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">I hopeful that someone can get these two wonderful singers together and make some beautiful harmonies together for fans that love theirs voices. Why would I select these two wonderful female Spanish women. It is because they are opposites attract but both have beautiful vibratos. They are just hopeless romantics who have enormous emotions. They can have moments of joy and then at other times, they can have moments of sadness. They do their best to give music that people can love. I can see them combine their styles. I think they can play their styles together. Monica Naranjo is more pop sounding while Edith Marquez is more traditional with her music. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;">I have two songs that I think would help these two wonderful ladies to remix with lovely harmonies </span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vfFbQdv2clc" width="320" youtube-src-id="vfFbQdv2clc"></iframe></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9aOaCwoIsfU" width="320" youtube-src-id="9aOaCwoIsfU"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;">These songs are the ones that they should sing together. The first song is Monica's famous song Jamas which means in Spanish "Never". The second song is Edith's song is Aunque Sea en Otra Vida which means in Spanish "No sea in another life". These songs would good for these two women to harominze espcially both of these songs are themes of sadness. Why? Because they are very effective emotional singers and they know how to get into your hearts in their music. I think their voices would meld together especially their lovely vibratos that they posses in their voices. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: large;">I hope one day that these two women sing together and maybe make a dream duet album. The latter is mother to <b>Sandra Mpongo</b> who is also a singer herself. I actually think if Mpongo had lived longer, I believed that she would have sung with a woman like Abby Suriya. That would have the good idea of them singing together. These two female singers are like opposites attract but it is perfect for us. Abby Suriya is a romantic singer but more expressive in her tone. Mpongo Love is also a romantic singer but softer in her tone. This would be a great musical match. Mpongo's voice a female version of <b>Ntesa</b> in a sense where her voice is very jolly. Abby Suriya's voice is a female version of combinations of <b>Shimita, Solo Sita</b> and <b>Carlyto</b> whom she sang with in the past. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;">One reason that they would have and should have sung together would because they both worked with former soccer legend <b>Mayaula Mayoni</b>. They had the luxuries to work with him. Abby appeared on Mayaula Mayoni's Ousmane Bakyoko and Bikini. Mpongo got her name going on Mayoni's song Ndaya which she sang with saxophonist Empompo Loway. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;">Speaking on Ndaya. That would be one of the songs that would have been perfect for Abby Suriya and Mpongo Love. Mpongo singing high with Abby singing low. There is another song that would have been perfect. It is also from Mayaula Mayoni. The song he did for <b>Tshala Muana</b>. It is called Nasi Mobali. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;">Here is the songs </span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Zk9usqWxB1s" width="320" youtube-src-id="Zk9usqWxB1s"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;">NDAYA </span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/MnNB_ehTiOU" width="320" youtube-src-id="MnNB_ehTiOU"></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;">NASI NABALI </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;">If they had sung together, it would have good for Congolese music fans who love female singers more. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Work Sans; font-size: large;">Second and final series of Congolese women in Dream Duets. </span></div>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933753988960158407.post-39693183332251574512021-03-19T15:59:00.000-05:002021-03-19T15:59:01.919-05:00Dream Duet: Barbara Kanam and Cindy Le Coeur <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9HBVqKZki1A/YEf8YrTSoAI/AAAAAAAAAtU/oFkyWRNqHz8OBNUGEQze1b9gDJJm0-LjwCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="732" data-original-width="600" height="640" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9HBVqKZki1A/YEf8YrTSoAI/AAAAAAAAAtU/oFkyWRNqHz8OBNUGEQze1b9gDJJm0-LjwCLcBGAsYHQ/w525-h640/image.png" width="525" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-oXq_btdIXcs/YEf-ahNzRHI/AAAAAAAAAts/CUVGydqMw4YZynhkgCloTFUfPevo4VtngCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="768" height="640" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-oXq_btdIXcs/YEf-ahNzRHI/AAAAAAAAAts/CUVGydqMw4YZynhkgCloTFUfPevo4VtngCLcBGAsYHQ/w512-h640/image.png" width="512" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bhE_FaHAD98/YEf-lppa6eI/AAAAAAAAAtw/Kz3rxqjHZpYRy0_qk9qawYCoiqW6udhHQCLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="403" data-original-width="605" height="426" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bhE_FaHAD98/YEf-lppa6eI/AAAAAAAAAtw/Kz3rxqjHZpYRy0_qk9qawYCoiqW6udhHQCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h426/image.png" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7Z2tVGaFNeU/YEf_ufTx3GI/AAAAAAAAAt8/402kEk7S8hIk83yQzUf3eLkPMLU9BC4nACLcBGAsYHQ/image.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="602" data-original-width="696" height="555" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7Z2tVGaFNeU/YEf_ufTx3GI/AAAAAAAAAt8/402kEk7S8hIk83yQzUf3eLkPMLU9BC4nACLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h555/image.png" width="640" /></a></div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Fira Sans; font-size: large;">This is women's history month and I want to focus on Congolese women singers that they have yet to sing together or the ones that should have sung together. Also, they have soft voices which I know pleases some folks who prefer softer voices. However there is a nice difference between Barbara Kanam and Cindy le Coeur. Cindy's soft voice is very feminine and pretty high while Barbara's voice is much more masculine and in the middle range in the female standard. In other words, not low enough or high enough. That is exactly why these two women must sing together. If Koffi Olomide wanted more money, he should encourage Cindy and Barbara to do a few duet songs together so he can get be involved in the guitar and musical production side. Koffi is good at playing the guitar if some don't know. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Fira Sans; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Fira Sans; font-size: large;">I found five Koffi Olomide songs that Barbara Kanam and Cindy Le Coeur should sing together. He also is called and rightfully so as Desouza Santu Mungongo Elengi. I like that title. His voice is like that.</span><span style="font-size: x-large;"> </span><span style="font-size: large;">He used to sing with <b>Evoloko, Bimi Ombale</b> and <b>Pepe Kalle</b>. He is one incredibe vocalist in my opinion. He is a solo artist and was very present on Biya Chante's album Cocktail. He recently released his EP Arobase which has his big song called Maman Bonheur. Check this song here</span></span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"></span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gwB0khn3OWs" width="320" youtube-src-id="gwB0khn3OWs"></iframe></span></span></div><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><br /><span style="font-size: large;">Desouza Santu has shown in the song that he is pretty good as a multi-tasker in sense of singing. Also this song is a very good Rumba song in the current Congolese music scene. Desouza's multi-choir singing was solid and his voice was pretty solid. I am sure this man must be at least 56 years old. He is very justified to be called Desouza Santu Mongongo Elengi. MONGONGO ELENGI.</span></span></span><p></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><span style="font-size: large;">The Maman Bonheur song got me thinking about which OKJ singer would have been perfect with Desouza Santu. It is Josky without doubt. These two men would have been gold together musically. </span></span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><span style="font-size: large;">I will give you four reasons why they would have been perfect together?</span></span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><span style="font-size: large;">1) They are effective of the Africa Fiesta school sense of singing. </span></span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><span style="font-size: large;">2) They are great multi-taskers musically. </span></span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><span style="font-size: large;">3) They have solid songs on Rumba. </span></span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><span style="font-size: large;">4) They know well where they stand vocally </span></span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><span style="font-size: large;">Fourth reason leading to me how they would sing together. Josky would sing in the low/middle note and Desouza Santu would sing in the high note. I am sure Josky would have had a blast singing with Desouza Santu. I think Josky should got Simaro to recruit Desouza Santu into Bana OK. Desouza had a voice well made for Bana OK. He was a good animator like Bana OK singer <b>Shakembo</b>. Shakembo was a good animator. But for a few Josky songs, Desouza could take over and put his own twist on animations. Desouza was a solid animator. </span></span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><span style="font-size: large;">Which leads to me being which song would be perfect for Desouza Santu and Josky Kiambukuta. </span></span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"></span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VNeCJTLtwdU" width="320" youtube-src-id="VNeCJTLtwdU"></iframe></span></span></div><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><br /><span style="font-size: large;">The song here is called Point Faible. This song was on Josky's 1999 solo album POINT FAIBLE. This song should be a great duo song in my opinion. Josky can sing lead while Desouza and Josky do harmonies together. Also another reason why this song would be perfect is because Desouza Santu would do the animations. Desouza was a good animators during the final years of Empire Bakuba. </span></span></span><p></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></span></span></p><p><span><span style="font-family: Bitter;"><span style="font-size: large;">That will be end of the Josky Kiambukuta tribute dream duet editions. Josky will remain one of the greatest Congolese singers to ever live. </span></span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><p></p><p><br /></p>FrancoPepeKallehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03432227129763434585noreply@blogger.com0
