Soukous c'est leur force de la vie. Ils chantent bien et ils ont su de donner leurs voix pour leurs vies. Ces chansons sont le mieux pour leurs voix. Penser de la chanson Tika Makanisi. Je sais que cette chanson donnerait une belle harmonie parce qu'Adamo donnerait un beau moment avec sa voix qu'il est haut. Finalement, je sais que les fans du Grand Zaiko seraient heureux comme ils chanteriont ces chansons en nouvelle manière. Nous sentirons un nouveau chemin comment chanter et comment danser.
This dream trio should have been in Grand Zaiko and it is so unfortunate that it never happened in Grand Zaiko. This dream trio should have came and got together to make great melodies as three singers. I am speaking of three former members of Grand Zaiko who were Adamo Ekula, Defao and Shimita. These men are important in discussion of Generation Zaiko. Defao and Shimita are princes of Soukous music while Adamo was the milk of singing. His vocals are too much for me. I think these men should have a trio song on a Pepe Felly album. Here is why? Because these are the men that managed to impress people like Nyoka Longo. They were his singers. I wish Pepe Felly would have gotten these men to work together on a beautiful song where their voices would have molded well together. After all, Shimita and Defao sounded together when they sang together in Grand Zaiko. Also they did two songs on Dally Kimoko's solo album Just listen how good they sounded together

BTW Shimita loved this song of Adamo that he decided to remix 2014 with the voices of Djo Nickel (Nyoka Longo copycat) and Desouza Santu as Djeffar Lukombo of Afrisa. Hear it here
Finally, I got something from Adamo Ekula himself. I asked him if he had sung with Defao, and he said yes and then he got me this song that he did with Defao and it sounds amazing. It is called Hondo Cava Adamo Ekula et Defao chantent Hondo Cava
Oh my it sounds so good. I mean too good. Because these two men were on point with their voices. It reminds of Nyboma and Pepe Kalle. Sadly only two songs contain voices of Adamo Ekula and Defao together. They should have done more music together. They would have been a better duo than Nyboma and Pepe Kalle. Adamo would be the Nyboma type and Defao would be the Pepe Kalle type. BTW Defao sounds similar to Pepe Kalle, so it is no surprise there in that sense. Fortunately these men are alive. I am crossing my fingers for a Grand Zaiko reunion with only these men and no else. No Djeffar Lukombo nor Djo Nickel. I want only Defao alongside Adamo Ekula and Shimita.
There is a big question for Zaiko fans. One former member that people speak about the most. It ain't Dindo Yogo or even Papa Wemba. It is Felix Mankauku better known as Pepe Felly. But I do pose a question about them. What would be Zaiko be like if it was led by Pepe Felly instead of Nyoka Longo and Nyoka Longo formed another Zaiko clan maybe called "Zaiko Mabina" or "Zaiko Dance". Here is my theory Pepe Felly actually would have made Zaiko much better. Really? Yes much better. Because Pepe Felly founded some amazing singers during his great time with Grand Zaiko. I mean think about Adamo Ekula, Djeffar Lukombo, Djo Poster, Shimita and even Defao. Unbelievable. I think Pepe Felly would have created some groups within Zaiko and you would see what kind of singers sing together. I mean Pepe Felly had a feeling who was who and which kind could fit in a given song. Want evidence of this. Nyoka Longo would steal musicians like anyone but where do they usually come from? GRAND ZAIKO WAWA. No kidding. One particular example of this was the addition of Adamo Ekula. He would be a big backup singer in Zaiko and he would make some amazing songs as well as strong vocals.In fact he would be stronger than Malage de Lugendo. I wish Adamo had done songs with Madilu. I think Adamo would have been a great duet partner to Madilu. That is my opinion anyway. Also finally Pepe Felly managed to bother Nyoka Longo with the fact that he founded singers who sounded like the Zaiko singers. One Nyoka Longo impostor was Djo Poster. Now you would think Nyoka Longo not care but he did. It bothered that someone who sounded like him. SMH. Anyway, Nyoka Longo would steal musicians from this group like I said before. So would Zaiko have been better with Pepe felly. I say yes.
Hello people, I am going to do another person I want you guys to be aware of. WHY? Welll because I love Congolese Music a lot and plus this person has always been one of my favorite singers I have heard for some time. I find his voice to be value and his music and his performances are just too good to me. I am speaking of one person name Adamo Ekula. This man is not known to many local Congolese Music but those who love Congolese music in general, you guys need to hear this man. Adamo has quite a distinctive career and has made impact on bands. Adamo began his musical journey in 1986 when he joined the band Grand Zaiko Wawa de Pepe Felly. Adamo started getting buzz when he participated on the international Love Me with Grand Zaiko crew. That song got Adamo some buzz. For the next two years, he would be impactable singer and his voice stood out from others. Even Mr. Djo Poster did not have the voice like Adamo had according to many people. Also Shimita did not seem to have the voice uniqueness like Adamo Ekula.
But his music career really got started when he joined Zaiko Langa Langa. Well the Zaiko Langa Langa band he joined was Zaiko Langa Langa Nkolo Mboka. This band at the time had Dindo Yogo, Nyoka Longo, Gege Mangaya, and others. Immediately soon, Adamo Ekula had the star in him born. Soon he got only better. In 1991, Dindo Yogo left the band which gave only more attention for Adamo alongside with Malage, and Thylon who was a member of Orchestre Kiam, I think. Soon you would hear Adamo Ekula contribute to a lot of works including Recontres, Backline Lesson One, Feelings, and Poison.
But one song he made that stood out is the song Exil which was released in 1989. It had also had the voice of late Dindo Yogo.
But as soon as Adamo Ekula went to Europe, he had some happiness and he soon married his wife Cathy Ekula. After that, Adamo Ekula left Zaiko Langa Langa in June 2009 and form his band Les Stars de Zaiko (now Zaikas Kolo Mboka). He released a popular album Tata Yoyo which had some notable success.
Adamo Ekula is continuing with his band and has had some smalle concerts and he has continued to grow more base of people as his music becomes more known.

Hello my followers and my fellow blogger colleagues. Now I am writing slightly bigger and more bolder.
What I am going to do is very important for people. I am going to do something I really shouldn't do but I sort gotta do it.
Well I had spent lots of time on facebook last month and got to meet new people and see new views. I am trying to expand my ultra life a little bit so people can see who I am. I also had great conversations and I am learning how to be a better person. Things in that nature.
But what I am going to do is this. I will explain. Well I have talked to some people that are known to some people and are popular musicians. I have actually got to speak to all of them. Most of them want me to become their personal assistant saying they need me so much. I said to them, I can't. So I promised this and now I am going to do it. I am going to expose them to my followers and my fellow blogger colleagues. I am going to do on my next 7 posts are basically going to dedicate to them. I will try my best to give the right image of these seven musicians. I want you guys to know them. I am going to plead to you to help them too.
