Dream Duet: Kwamy Munsi and Papy Tex

 

We got a dream duet edition of dedication of Papy Tex. We got two people that I think Papy Tex should have sung with. This is the first edition. Who is the second act that should have sung with Papy Tex. This man was the singer that got to sing with both Franco and Tabu Ley. He would play with Franco during the 1960s era and return to Franco in 1970 until 1972. He would end up singing with Tabu Ley until his death in 1982. He would also sing with Grand Kalle at one point and had a band called Orchestre Revolution. Who is the person that I am speaking of?

I am speaking of Kwamy Munsi. Kwamy is one good singer. He is better than accredited for. Some people say that Kwamy was average but I disagree completely. Kwamy actually sang well. I will show you an example where Kwamy sounded more than average 

The song here is called Mbanda na Ngai. He sang this song with Mujos and Franco the legend. He started with Mujos and then harmonized with Franco. Kwamy made a short vocal and it sounded pretty good. So to say that Kwamy was average is laughable. Even Franco was not average. Sure Franco was not the best singer but he could sing and hold notes pretty well. Let's be reasonable. Franco and Kwamy Munsi were good singers and great harmonists. 

Kwamy Munsi would be the God scent musical partner for Papy Tex. Kwamy has a soft voice and he would be very good for a voice of a Papy Tex. Listen to how he sang with Youlou Mabiala and Vicky Longomba as well as Grand Kalle and Tabu Ley. Four great tenorists all were perfect in harmonizing with Kwamy himself. He created a soft yet strong vocal singing. Something Dilu Dilumona himself spoke about within influence of Kwamy in even the musical voice of Ferre Gola

So you can see that Kwamy made his mark in singing. Back to Kwamy and Papy Tex, here are six songs that would have fitted their voices together.

These songs would have shown the strong force between Kwamy Munsi and Papy Tex. Because they show great emotion and it gives you the idea of the what the songs are about. Also they fit the Grand Kalle music in their perspective. Kwamy as a second voice singer and Papy Tex as a first voice singer. These two men would have definitively given great joy the Congolese music population. Music fans should know this especially since they were good at love songs and were perfect harmonists. 

I know that Papy Tex would have been very good with Kwamy Munsi. I also know that Kwamy would have a great time with Papy Tex. In part because Kwamy had strong connection with Tabu Ley during his final years. Imagine if someone got Kwamy with Papy Tex, you would have a great nzonzing project. No debate about.

Dream Duet: Franco and Grand Kalle

 

This duet should have occurred especially since both of them sung with Tabu Ley. I will do two duet posts of Tabu Ley with a former Empire Bakuba leader and one of the co-founders of Zaiko Langa Langa. Who are the two men that I am speaking of whom sung with Tabu Ley. 

I am speaking of Grand Maitre Franco and Pere de la rumba Grand Kalle. These two men made their remark in Congolese Rumba. Rumba music that has gone throughout much of Africa in much thanks to these two men. 

I am upset that Franco did not do an actual duet with Grand Kalle. If there was anyone Franco should have sung with let alone do a duet album with was Grand Kalle. Grand Kalle was the one who trained the voice of Pepe Kalle who Franco loved so much. Unlike Pepe, Grand was also a tenor singer. Grand Kalle was a perfect tenor singer. He never had a bad day vocally speaking. The songs speak for itself. 

Franco and Grand Kalle would have been perfect because listen to the song Ngungi that Franco sang with Tabu Ley. Had Franco sung a song like that with Grand Kalle, it would have been fire. Franco has a wild expressive voice while Grand Kalle has a sweet tenor romantic voice. That gives people something to work with.

These songs would have demonstrated the great chemistry between Franco and Grand Kalle. If Franco was perfect with Tabu Ley, you would have seen more fire with Grand Kalle and Franco himself. The best two examples where Franco and Grand Kalle would have been extraordinary for them would be the following:

These songs would have been the great chemistry between them especially the emotional tenor sound of Grand Kalle and also the strong baritone note of Franco. It would convince people that they were sincere in what they were singing about. I believe these songs would have been better done if these men had sung instead of singing it with Tabu Ley or Edo Nganga though they are exceptional singers.  

Franco and Grand Kalle would have been stronger as legends had they made a duet song or a duet album. 

Benefits of Madilu and Nyboma partnership

I got you guys for the benefits from a partnership of Madilu and Nyboma. 

1) It created a new duoship of two legends
Madilu and Nyboma made something new of making a duoship worth hearing and they made a distinctive sound. 

2) Madilu saw a good person to work with
Madilu saw that Nyboma was always willing to help him. Nyboma was the one who arranged a lot of Madilu's incredible songs that you heard through most of Madilu's classic works. Nyboma always made Madilu's music better. 

3) Appreciation
Nyboma and Madilu appreciated each other since they sang together so often. Also there was a sense of respect for one another since they had a great musical connection. Furthermore, there was a sense of good compliments like Madilu often said "Coko Nyboma" and Nyboma would respond with more joy. '

4) SUCCESS
This formula played a huge role in Madilu's great success. Part of the reason of his great successful solo career, was due to the participation of Nyboma himself in many of those songs. This formula helped people discover Madilu. It helped people to appreciate and love the voice of Madilu with great support of people with Nyboma like Luciana or Wuta Mayi as examples. 

5) Consistency 
It helped people know that Madilu had a certain vocal arrangement. You knew that it had a certain way of going on many Madilu songs. Typically you would have Wuta Mayi and Nyboma with another person with someone like Ballou Canta or Malage de Lugendo or Luciana. But that sort of changed a bit on Bonne Humeur but it was consistent on most Madilu's work. Also furthermore, you could also count on Nyboma being on most of Madilu's solo work. Nyboma was consistent on his role with Madilu as a backup man and arranger of Madilu's great work. 

Most Lady Gaga fans are so stupid

Forgive me. Please forgive me. I have been having a bad day today as well as yesterday. I was not able to post because I was falling unto war with so many stupid people. The stupid ones I am speaking of are the dumbest fan base i have seen a while who is Lady Gaga fans or Lady Gargara fans. Let me put it in some Lingala vulgar: Zoba fans du Lady Garagara Gargara.

Yesterday I was making a statement on another artist: ADELE.

I said that Adele is one of today's artists to still produce good music in pretty much depressing Music scene. Let's face it, there is nothing good or anything coming from the music scene today. 75 percent of the new materials are absolute garbage. Most of today's music is so below par that it is the great depression basically. I will not waste my time hearing the garbage new music that is today. There are exceptions. Like Ferre Gola and Adele. I love them so much. Their music is so gold material to me. They are the ones making proper music.

Adele and Ferre Gola have made two songs that I enjoy so much as a music listener in today's depressing music scene. Adele's Someone Like You and Ferre Gola's Lekelekeleke are songs that I enjoy so much and I conisder to art. REAL ART. These two artists are the best singers and they know what they want to do: Make music for our souls. I like that.

Instead, some Gaga fans (well dumb ones) thought I was dicing their messiah Lady Gaga and I told them that I was not. They accused me of hating Adele when that was never the case. What finally angered stupid Lady Gaga fans when I pointed out that Adele's 21 had more success than Lady Gaga's Born this way. This set off most dumb Lady Gaga fans and know they want to kill me or make my life miserable because I am not part of the Lady Gaga spell. No surprise since Most Lady Gaga fans are the dumbest people to be around.

What does not surprise me is that most Lady Gaga fans are the dumbest people ever. Most of them are angry and whiny people. All they want to do is slander other artists to somehow make Lady Gaga the greatest artist ever. That is so laughable. They want to hate on people who don't love Lady Gaga hardcore like they do.

Even Koffi Olomide fan bases are more respectful. For example, Haha La Prof loves Koffi so much and he is consistent on his love for him. For example, Haha La Prof was nicely made when I was dicing Koffi and he told me to tone down my anger. I did. Haha La Prof is a smart humble Congolese man and he is a big patriot. He is very into Congolese Music like I am. He loves Zaiko Langa Langa, OK Jazz, Afrisa, and Africa Jazz. Of course he is a diehard fan of Koffi Olomide. No problem with me. In fact, Haha La Prof himself had a chance to play with Tabu Ley so he loves him so much. Understandable. Koffi's fans are the most loyal. You got some notable characters which are Mobali Mosusu, and Haha La Prof. They stand by their man no matter what. They love their idol no matter. They said that their idol is why they love music a lot. I apperciate them for their love of music.

But not all Lady Gaga fans are bad and stupid. There is one Lady Gaga fan who happens to be a big Koffi Olomide fan. That person is Queen Alicia. She even told me herself that she considers her a genius. I apperciate that too. There are good Lady Gaga fans.

Sadly the notable Lady Gaga fans are the dumb ones and they just sound idoitic and dislike anyone who does not worship their messiah Lady Gaga.

For the Stupid Lady Gaga fans: FUCK THEM. YEP I SAID IT. FUCK THEM.

P.S. I will try to make a case why Adele and Ferre Gola are the best artists in the current Music scene.
